Cancellation Policy

  • Customer cancellations: Full refund available if cancelled 24+ hours before the tour.

  • Late cancellations: No refund for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled start time.

  • Weather cancellations: Tours run in most conditions, including rain. If Shutter Scotland deems conditions unsafe (e.g. severe weather warnings), we will reschedule or issue a full refund.

  • Private & Masterclass tours: We will work with you to reschedule where possible.

Minimum Numbers Policy

  • Group tours require a minimum of two participants.

  • If fewer than two participants are booked, Shutter Scotland reserves the right to reschedule or cancel with a full refund offered.

Liability & Safety

  • Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings and equipment during the tour.

  1. Shutter Scotland is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.

  2. Participants must take care when crossing roads, using steps, or handling equipment.

Accessibility

  • Tours involve walking on uneven ground, stairs, and cobbled streets. Please contact us in advance if you have specific mobility requirements, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
